About the Pensive Pastor

It's not about public recognition, fame or anything else. The ideas and reflections published in this blog are all about connecting real life with real faith. It's something I've been doing for the past five or six years in order to share my faith with my congregations in a little more personal way, one that allows a little more freedom than the traditional Sunday sermon.
Over time, the folks in the pews have grown to enjoy these reflections, and so they've been sharing them with their families and friends beyond St. James Presbyterian. Now I'm offering them on-line with the hope that you can enjoy them as well.
