June 9th

Lord, it was a tough day in a couple of ways; my back was so sore starting in the morning I had to cancel a couple of things I enjoy doing, ministries that I believe make a difference for folks.
Thankfully I was better enough to be able to have a coffee with a couple of folks that have left St. James, but that didn't go as well as I'd prayed for. I know we're still good friends, and that is a great gift, but they're probably not coming back and it does feel like a blow.
I just pray that you help them continue in faith wherever they go and that you will help us build a strong, healthy friendship, because I do need friends outside my work.
