God, thanks for a chance to sit and chat with a new friend today. Help me understand him and be open to him. Help me figure out why he's reluctant to go to church and to apply that to my own way of dealing with folks. Above all, help us to be friends that respect and admire one another, always seeking each other's good and never trying to fix one another.
