Lord it was a great day of worship and celebration as St. James recognized its 5oth anniversary. Thanks so much for all the people that made the church possible in the first place, and those who are keeping it going and will keep it going for years to come. Thanks also for Lois and the kids and for their support.
As I take a time off on retreat, help me to use the occasion to be a better, more effective leader and listener, to pay more attention to you, and to be a better husband and father. Bless my family during my retreat.
Bless all the folks at St. James as well, so that they can be part of an exciting future that they themselves create along with me, and not just because I say so, but because we are working together for your Glory, praise and honour.
